What is the cost of a black & white copy?

A black-and-white copy of an 8.5"x 11 " document on plain paper costs $0.28/page. Bulk printing discounts apply after 50 copies.

What is the cost of a color copy

A color copy of an 8.5"x11" document on plain paper costs $1.05/page. Bulk printing discounts apply after 25 copies.

Do you print blueprints?

Yes. We print blueprints up to 36 inches wide in black and white or color. Pricing starts at $1.70 per page for 18"×24" and
$5.00 per page for 36"×48". Blueprint printing on vellum or mylar is available upon request. We also offer wide-format
scanning at $2.00 per page, plus $9.95 per email. This service is commonly used by contractors, architects, and engineers
in Easton, MD and across the Eastern Shore.

Can you scan blueprints to my email?

Yes! Wide format scans start at $2.00/page, plus $9.95 per email sent.

Can you print blueprints on vellum or mylar?

Yes, we can print blueprints on vellum or mylar at your request. Please include this special paper request in your instructions and allow for extra time for print production.

Do you print photos?

We print photos! Photo printing is a specialty at our shop. We can print photos from your phone, computer, or scan in printed photos to create reproductions.

Can you print posters?

We print posters! We also print banners, yard signs, photo enlargements, and other wide format print requests.

Can you mount to foam board?

Yes, we can mount to foam board for indoor usage and to corrugated plastic boards for outdoor usage. 

Can you add text, and images, or make changes to my design?

Yes! Whether you have a complete design or just an idea, we can help with text, images, and other adjustments. Small edits start at $19.99, while more detailed design work is $70 per hour. Let us know what you need, and we’ll bring your vision to life!

How large of a print can you produce?

We can print borderless up to 42" wide and more than 20' long.

What is your average print turnaround?

Small copy jobs can typically be completed in less than 30 minutes. Larger print jobs, particularly those requiring design work, typically take 1-7 business days depending on the level of need.

Does Chesapeake Custom Print & Ship print jobs on-site, or outsource them?

Print jobs are produced on-site at our Easton, MD location. We are not a middleman — your order is not routed to a thirdparty facility. On-site production is what allows us to complete small copy jobs in under 30 minutes and offer same-day
turnaround for many projects.

Can Chesapeake handle bulk or recurring business print orders?

Yes. We handle recurring commercial print accounts for local businesses — monthly marketing materials, ongoing branded
collateral, large-volume direct mail, and more. We're equipped for business-grade printing, not just walk-in copies.

Is local printing better than online printing for businesses?

For many jobs, yes. Local printing at Chesapeake allows for same-day turnaround, on-site quality review, direct
communication on file prep and finishing, and faster resolution if something needs to be corrected. If a deadline can't be
missed or you want to see quality before committing to a full run, local production is the better choice.

Can you scan to email or thumb drive?

Yes, we offer scan-to-email or thumb drive services for letters and documents up to 36" wide. For documents 11"x17" or smaller, it's $0.50/page to scan, plus $9.95 to send an email or upload to a thumb drive. For wide format documents, this starts at $2.00/page to scan, plus $9.95 to send an email or upload to a thumb drive.

Can you send/receive faxes?

Yes, we offer faxing services to send and receive faxes from our in-store location. The cost is $2.00/page for outgoing faxes and $1.00 per page for incoming faxes. If sending a fax, please allow time to wait for the fax confirmation.

Shipping, Labels, & Returns

What printed labels do you accept?

We accept printed labels from USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL.

I have a shipping label. Where can I send it to be printed?

To have your pre-paid shipping label printed in-store, upload it here.

My Amazon return says to take a QR code to the UPS Store. Can you also accept this return?

No, we are currently unable to accept UPS QR codes.

What QR code return labels do you accept?

We can accept most USPS and FedEx QR codes. Please bring the QR code in-store to verify its eligibility at our location.

Do you sell stamps?

Yes, we sell domestic Forever stamps and international stamps. Domestic forever stamps are sold in singles, books, and rolls. International stamps are sold as singles.

What shipping carriers does Chesapeake Custom Print & Ship work with?

Chesapeake Custom Print & Ship is an authorized retailer for UPS, FedEx, and DHL, and an authorized postal provider for
USPS. We can compare carrier rates to help you find the best option for your shipment size, destination, and timeline.

Does Chesapeake Custom Print & Ship offer international shipping?

Yes. International shipping is available through UPS, FedEx, and DHL. We can help you choose the right carrier and service
level for international packages and documents.

Can Chesapeake handle freight or oversized shipments?

Yes. Freight and oversized item shipping is available. Custom packing and crating is offered for items that are fragile, large,
or require special handling — including artwork, equipment, construction materials, and other items that can't go in a
standard box.

Can Chesapeake Custom Print & Ship pick up items from my home?

Yes. Local pickup is available for large or heavy items that you cannot transport to the store. Contact us at 410-819-0246 to

Can I buy gifts online or only in-store?

Currently, our gifts are available in-store so you can see and feel the quality in person.

Can I buy a gift and ship it from your store?

Yes! All of our gifts are available to ship. Once you find one you like, we can pack it up and ship it for you. Don't forget the gift bag and card--we have those, too!

Notary Public

Do you notarize documents? 

Yes. Walk-in notary public services are available at Chesapeake Custom Print & Ship during all business hours. Three
members of our team are commissioned Maryland notary publics: Peter Furey (Owner/General Manager), Dorian Martinez
(Assistant Manager), and Emily Brown (Director of Custom Print). No appointment is required for most document
notarizations.

Do I need an appointment for notary services?

No. Walk-in notary services are available during all business hours — Monday through Friday 8:00am–6:00pm, Saturday
9:00am–1:00pm. If your notarization is time-sensitive, you may call ahead to confirm availability at 410-819-0246.

What do I need to bring for notary services?

Bring a valid government-issued photo ID and the unsigned document(s) to be notarized. Do not sign the document before
arriving — notarization requires the signature to be made in the presence of the notary.
 

Shredding & Document Services

Does Chesapeake Custom Print & Ship offer document shredding?

Yes. Chesapeake Custom Print & Ship offers secure document shredding in two formats: on-site shredding performed at our
Easton, MD location, and drop-off shredding where you bring documents to the store for secure destruction. This service is
used for safe disposal of sensitive records, tax documents, financial paperwork, and confidential business files.
