Custom Print Order Terms and Conditions
All orders placed with Chesapeake Custom Print & Ship are custom-produced to the specifications approved by the customer. As such, all sales are final. Refunds are not provided. Any reprints, exchanges, or adjustments are made solely at our discretion on a case-by-case basis. Customers are responsible for reviewing their order at the time of pickup. Once an order has been accepted and removed from the premises, Chesapeake Custom Print & Ship is not responsible for any damage, defects, or issues resulting from handling, transportation, storage conditions, or environmental exposure. Production timelines begin only after final proof approval is received. Any delay in proof approval will result in a corresponding delay in production and completion, for which we are not responsible. Customers providing original materials (including photographs, artwork, or documents) acknowledge and accept all risks associated with reproduction and handling. While reasonable care is taken, Chesapeake Custom Print & Ship assumes no liability for loss or damage to original items.
Small Order / Same-Day Service
Chesapeake Custom Print & Ship may offer same-day turnaround for select small, print-ready orders. To be considered for same-day service, print-ready artwork must be received by 10:00 AM, Monday through Friday. “Print-ready” files must be fully finalized files that require no edits, adjustments, re-sizing, or design work. Files that require modifications may be subject to additional charges and extended production timelines. All small orders are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Same-day completion is not guaranteed and is dependent on order complexity, quantity, production capacity, and current workload. Orders that cannot be completed same-day will be scheduled for the next available production time.
Mounting and Finishing Disclaimer
Certain finishing services—including mounting on foam board—carry inherent risks such as warping, bowing, or material movement over time. These risks may be influenced by environmental conditions including heat, humidity, handling, and storage after pickup. We do not recommend mounting original or irreplaceable items. If a customer chooses to proceed against this recommendation, they accept full responsibility for the outcome.
Design Policy
All designs created by Chesapeake Custom Print & Ship remain the property of Chesapeake Custom Print & Ship until full payment has been received. Customers are responsible for ensuring they have proper rights or authorization to use any logos, images, or design elements they submit. Chesapeake Custom Print & Ship reserves the right to request proof of authorization and to refuse reproduction of any materials that may infringe on copyright or trademark laws.
Proof Approval
Customers are solely responsible for thoroughly reviewing and approving all proofs prior to production, including layout, spelling, grammar, sizing, and colors. Once a proof is approved, no changes can be made, and the order will proceed into production as approved.
Refunds, Exchanges, and Store Credit
All orders are custom-produced and are not eligible for refunds. Exchanges or store credit may be considered on a case-by-case basis and must be requested within two (2) days of order pickup. Items must be returned in their original condition to be eligible. Requests for exchanges or store credit must be submitted in writing.Requests made after two (2) days will not be accepted.
Reprint Policy
Once an order has been approved and sent to production, it cannot be canceled or modified, and the customer assumes responsibility for all associated costs.
All discounted reprint requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Rush Orders
Rush service is subject to availability and may incur additional fees. Rush fees may apply to any order required within forty-eight (48) hours, as well as orders placed on Friday and required for next-day completion (Saturday pick-up).
